    Florence Melton Adult Mini-School
    We invite you to come study in an intellectually stimulating, pluralistic learning environment. Our sophisticated, sequential curriculum – which was designed and written by a team of scholars and educators at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem – introduces the shared heritage of the Jewish people and its development into contemporary forms of Judaism.

    Communiteen High School
    Communiteen is a two-year program that encourages students
    in exploring their Jewish identity using Jewish sources to discuss family history, life issues and their personal relationship to the Jewish people.

    PJ Library

    This program, for families with children ages seven months to 6 years, provides a free, highquality children’s book or CD each month for a year. The PJ Library is free for a family’s first year, thanks to a grant from the Federation; a nominal fee is required for subsequent years.

    Parent Education Program


    PEP is a unique opportunity to strengthen your understanding of Judaism. Gain the confidence to nurture the growing Jewish identity of your family in a warm, friendly environment. You are invited to join the great Jewish conversation that has taken place over the centuries – you will be able to bring it home. Parents from all Jewish backgrounds are welcome.

    College Scholarships

    Each summer, the Sarasota-Manatee Jewish Federation awards college scholarships to qualified applicants. There are certain requirements that must be fullfilled to be eligible.
